The Hereford Paranormal Group used to hold monthly open meetings that would be attended by anything between 40 and 80 people. These were held at the Richmond Club and Karlos due to requiring venues of a significant size to hold these free popular meetings. This was evidence of the interest in the paranormal in the county.

Tales of dark shadows and other non-explainable events accompany this building that is even included in the Doomsday book. There is said to be a young girl and at least one gentleman, who is thought to haunt the various floors of what was once a watermill. This incredibly atmospheric building has gone through some significant changes over time, but has the absence of water surrounding it and the change of use disturbed the spectral occupiers?

Villagers believe that the stretch of road between the Parish Church and Plough Inn in haunted by the victim of a road accident some 60 years ago. As many as 27 accidents were reported during an 18 month period, where motorists report losing control of their steering, with no apparent logical cause, as if pulled from their hands. Despite this, injuries are rare, and the accidents continue in the spot where it is believed a women was killed in a road accident during the 1920/30`s after a struggle at the wheel of a car.
